What is the process by which chiropractors become practitioners? It is not an easy one and is instead full of hard work and learning. Licensed chiropractors are required to be thoroughly educated in their profession and must also participate in a residency program. Although states have different policies when it comes to becoming a licensed chiropractor, the majority of the U.S. requires that the practitioner meet a significant amount of criteria. Licensed chiropractors must complete a number of college courses including Biology, Physics, Psychology, Chemistry and Organic Chemistry as well as extensive education and chiropractor training that often takes an additional period of four years to finish.
